Yay for Hobbity Valentines! I'm happy with some of them, a little less with the others (Also, yes I'm aware they're drawn in two different styles-I did a few on one day and a few on another and it turned out like that) Also, I wanted to add a girl into the bunch, but since there weren't any memorable women in the Hobbit...so I drew Varda
Happy Valentines Day everyone!

EDIT: I posted the full version of the Ori card on Twitter a few days back and guess what? Adam Brown (the actor who plays Ori in the Hobbit movies) added it to his favorites!!! OMFG! *runs around in circles happily*
I've done some Hobbit cartoons (I usually work in a more realistic style) and I've found it is actually harder than it looks to capture a character in a minimalistic style. I like your colors (quite different from mine) and how you've captured the characters. I especially like the Vala (her flowing lines), Bilbo (cheerful, Hobbity, cute) and (adorable) Ori (and his funny Adventure Time bendy legs). Thranduil is quite Elvishly handsome (in some art I've seen he is a bit too feminine). Fili might need a bigger nose, (he actually has rugged lionlike features), but he's darn cute and I like his thoughtful expression. Thorin is perhaps the most challenging, (Richard Armitage is quite Elvishly gorgeous, Thorin is quite Dwarvishly rugged).I'd like to see a bit more of that hawklike brooding Majestic glower. Nice stuff!
